The Puligny-Montrachet 1er cru Les folatiers 2020 - François Carillon represents an excellence of Burgundy, a region renowned worldwide for its refined white wines based on Chardonnay. Produced in the eponymous village of Puligny-Montrachet, this wine comes from a premier cru vineyard, a classification that reflects the superior quality of the terroir. The limestone soil, rich in marine fossils, gives a distinctive minerality and a unique typical elegance.

Vinified with traditional methods, the aging takes place in medium-toast oak barrels for about 12 months, promoting the crystalline expression of the fruit without overpowering its delicacy. On the nose, complex aromas of white flowers, golden apple, and light buttery notes emerge, accompanied by hints of citrus and almond. On the palate, it is balanced, with vibrant freshness, a juicy structure, and a persistent finish characterized by a pleasant sapidity.

An ideal wine to accompany dishes based on noble fish, crustaceans, or delicate white meats. Its harmony and finesse also make it perfect to enjoy in moments of conviviality, enhancing the unique territory of Puligny-Montrachet.
