The "Don Luigi Rosso" Riserva Molise DOC by Di Majo Norante is a wine that embodies the dedication and passion of one of the most representative wineries in Molise for the valorization of native vines and the production of high quality wines that express the character and the identity of the territory. This Reserve wine is dedicated to Luigi di Majo, a central figure in the history of the winery, and represents an expression of excellence of the Molise wine heritage.

Produced mainly with Montepulciano grapes, enriched with a small percentage of Aglianico to add complexity and structure, the "Don Luigi Rosso" Riserva is the result of a careful selection of the best grapes coming from the property's vineyards, located in the hills of Molise, where the Mediterranean climate and mineral-rich soils favor optimal ripening of the grapes.

Winemaking follows traditional practices, with prolonged maceration which allows for optimal extraction of colours, aromas and tannins. The wine is then aged in oak barriques for a period that varies depending on the vintage, during which it acquires complexity, spicy notes and greater softness, without losing the intensity of the fruit and the varietal typicality.

Visually, the "Don Luigi Rosso" Riserva has an intense and deep ruby red color, with garnet reflections which testify to its maturity. On the nose, it offers a complex and enveloping bouquet, characterized by aromas of ripe red fruits, such as black cherries and plums, enriched by notes of chocolate, vanilla and spices, the result of aging in wood.

In the mouth, the wine demonstrates extraordinary richness and depth, with well-integrated tannins and balanced acidity supporting its structure and persistence. Ripe fruit flavors blend with balsamic, toasted and spicy accents, leading to a long and satisfying finish, which leaves a pleasant sensation of warmth and complexity.

Ideal in combination with robust dishes of traditional cuisine, such as grilled red meats, stews and mature cheeses, the "Don Luigi Rosso" Riserva Molise DOC by Di Majo Norante is also a meditation wine, which invites reflection on the unique qualities of the wines Molise and on the commitment of a winery which, generation after generation, continues to best express the winemaking potential of this land.
