The Romagna Sangiovese "Dado" by Enio Ottaviani is a vibrant expression deeply rooted in the terroir of Romagna. This red wine, made from the iconic Sangiovese grape variety of this region, reflects a special connection with the land and the local winemaking traditions.

With a balanced alcohol content, "Dado" exhibits an intense ruby red color, with hues that tend to lean towards violet as the years pass. On the nose, the bouquet is complex, revealing notes of ripe red fruits such as cherries and plums, blended with light traces of spices and a subtle hint of damp earth and dry leaves, typical of Sangiovese from this area.

On the palate, the wine is robust yet balanced. The onset is sharp, supported by good acidity and well-integrated tannins that ensure a pleasant drinkability. The taste persistence is remarkable, leaving a velvety and simultaneously fresh sensation, with a finish that brings back the spices and a touch of vanilla, courtesy of its time aged in wood.

Ideal for pairing with both white and red meat dishes, it is excellent with a platter of typical Romagnolo cured meats and cheeses, thus reflecting the culinary tradition of its region. It is also recommended with hearty first courses, such as pasta with ragù or risottos.

Versatile and inviting, the Romagna Sangiovese "Dado" offers an authentic sip of Romagnolo hospitality and warmth, making it a standout on any table. A must for wine lovers who appreciate wines that express the character of their territory.
