The Sauvignon Exclusive from Ploner winery is an exclusive specimen that reveals the characteristic appeal of the white wines from the production area. Characterized by a meticulous selection of the best Sauvignon grapes, this wine stands out for its excellent balance between aromatic intensity and structure.

With a straw-yellow color and greenish reflections, the Sauvignon Exclusive offers a seductive bouquet of tropical fruits on the nose, notes of white flowers, herbaceous nuances, and a light hint of bell pepper, typical of this variety. On the palate, the liveliness of the acidity harmonizes beautifully with flavors of citrus and melon, enriched by a persistent finish and delicate minerality.

The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness and integrity of the aromas. Subsequently, the wine ages for a short period on fine lees, gaining complexity without losing its characteristic liveliness.

Ideal as an aperitif, the Sauvignon Exclusive from Ploner pairs magnificently with seafood dishes, light starters, and fresh cheeses. Its elegance and freshness make it perfect for a variety of occasions, from a casual meal with friends to more formal events.

The presence of the Sauvignon Exclusive in your Shopify E-Commerce will undoubtedly attract connoisseurs of refined white wines who are looking for a distinctive product capable of offering a fascinating and unforgettable sensory experience.

Winery history
Plonerhof was born from the conversion of an old farmhouse into a vineyard, led by the Tutzer family. The first bottling trials date back to the 2010s, with production consolidating in the early years of the following decade. The estate combines the owners' vine-nursery expertise with direct vineyard management, developing over the years an identity focused on low yields, clonal selection and quality wines.
Production philosophy
Vineyards are cultivated with the utmost respect for the environment, employing minimal interventions and a strong emphasis on manual work; at the winery the focus is on careful grape handling and a calibrated aging regime that highlights varietal and terroir characteristics. The estate has also undertaken projects on resistant grape varieties and clonal selection.
Terroir and vineyards
Marlengo hill: sandy-clay soils with occurrences of granite, schist and gneiss; vineyards on the valley-facing slopes with steep gradients, which promote a marked diurnal temperature range and the aromatic ripening of the grapes.
Awards and recognitions
Mentions and awards for some wines: the winery's Solaris has been awarded or mentioned in PIWI contexts; the Pinot Noir is positively mentioned in specialist guides and rankings.
