The particular distillation method used for Teeling Single Pot Still endows this whiskey with a rich aromatic profile and significant complexity. On the nose, enveloping notes of fresh fruit, such as apples and pears, are combined with hints of vanilla and sweet spices, a legacy of the American oak barrels in which the whiskey matures.
On the palate, Teeling Single Pot Still offers a robust yet balanced structure. The fruit sensations intensify, enriched by light roastings and a pinch of black pepper that further stimulates the senses. The tasting experience concludes with a long, creamy finish, where new accents of caramel, chocolate, and a light herbal aftertaste emerge.
Presented in an elegant case, this whiskey not only satisfies the palate but also proves to be an ideal gift for spirit enthusiasts or a sophisticated addition to a connoisseur’s collection. Teeling Single Pot Still is a celebration of Irish distilling tradition, a glass to be sipped slowly to appreciate each nuance.

Distillation
Combined use of pot stills (for single pot still expressions) and column stills (for some grain whiskey); some expressions are triple distilled; method varies depending on the bottle.
Ageing
Maturation in a wide range of casks with frequent finishes and double maturations (e.g. bourbon followed by wine casks such as Sauternes, red wine casks; finish in Japanese shochu casks on some releases). Many bottles are bottled without chill filtration and are reduced from cask strength to their house 'signature' ABV.
