Saint Germain's Brut Sparkling Wine, produced by the renowned Firriato winery, offers a delightful example of how elegance and refinement can perfectly blend with modern winemaking techniques. This sparkling wine features a bright straw-yellow color with greenish reflections, and a fine and persistent perlage that caresses both the palate and the eyes.

Exclusively produced in Italy, Firriato is known for its commitment to environmental respect and sustainable practices, a factor that also reflects in the quality of their wines. Saint Germain's Brut Sparkling Wine is primarily obtained from selected Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, varieties that impart surprising complexity and enveloping freshness.

On the nose, it opens with delicate aromas of green apple, citrus, and subtle floral notes, leading to a balanced and harmonious palate. The fineness of the perlage brings along a lively acidity that blends beautifully with a slight creaminess, making each sip pleasantly enduring. Its structure and elegance make it an ideal choice to accompany refined appetizers or fish-based dishes.

Perfect for special moments, Firriato's Brut is ideal for celebrating with class and delicacy. It is recommended to serve it well-chilled, between 6 and 8 degrees Celsius, to fully appreciate its bouquet and freshness. This sparkling wine is not just a drink but a sensory experience that elevates every social gathering to a memorable event.

Winery history
Founded as a family project by Salvatore Di Gaetano in the 1980s, Firriato has grown by expanding its presence across multiple estates in Sicily and bringing the island’s wines to international markets. The family has remained actively involved in technical supervision and brand development, over time establishing estates dedicated to production, ampelographic research and hospitality.
Production philosophy
The winery pursues an approach focused on respect for the land: careful selection of soils, promotion of local grape varieties and sustainability-focused agricultural management. Firriato declares the conversion of its vineyards to organic farming and has undertaken initiatives to offset and reduce the company's climate footprint.
Terroir and vineyards
The company's holdings are distributed across several estates that represent different terroirs: the hills of the Agro Trapanese, the slopes of Mount Etna and the maritime viticulture of the island of Favignana. The individual estates mentioned in the sources include Baglio Sorìa, Borgo Guarini, Dàgala Borromeo, Pianoro Cuddìa, Giudeo, Cavanera Etnea and Tenuta di Calamoni in Favignana.
