Winery history Feudi di San Gregorio

Founded in 1986 by the Capaldo family to promote Irpinia’s native varieties. Brand restyling by Massimo Vignelli from 2001. New winery complex (including the Marennà restaurant) developed in the 2000s. In May 2021 Feudi became a Benefit Company; the group expanded through Tenute Capaldo and other projects. The estate manages roughly 300 ha of vineyards across more than 800 parcels and exports worldwide.

Produce high-quality wines that express the territory through vine research, protection of historic vineyards, environmental sustainability and interplay with art and design; promote Irpinia’s social and cultural value.

Terroir and vineyards

Irpinia (headquarters in Sorbo Serpico, Avellino). Vineyards spread across many parcels in the Irpinia area (about 300 ha on more than 800 parcels); historic crus such as the 'Dal Re' vineyard (Taurasi) used for wines like Serpico.
