Marques de Riscal 150 Aniversario is a tribute to the prestige and long winemaking tradition of Rioja, one of the most renowned Spanish denominations. This wine is born from a careful selection of Tempranillo grapes, which represent the soul of the territory, cultivated with modern and environmentally respectful methods. After a controlled fermentation, the wine matures in American and French oak barrels, providing a perfect balance between structure and softness.

In the glass, it presents an intense and deep ruby color, while on the nose it expresses complex notes of ripe red fruits, vanilla, sweet spices, and a hint of toast. On the palate, a velvety harmony emerges, with mature tannins and a long, enveloping finish. Marques de Riscal 150 Aniversario pairs wonderfully with roasted meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses, enhancing the tasting experience with its enveloping character and elegant personality.

A celebratory wine that tells the story of an iconic winery in the heart of Rioja, capable of combining tradition and innovation in every sip.

Winery history
The property originated as a winery associated with the title of the Marchese de Riscal. Camilo Hurtado de Amézaga was the driving force behind the entrepreneurial transformation that led to the company's founding in the second half of the 19th century; the winery has a long tradition of producing Rioja and, from the 1970s onward, has also established itself in the Rueda appellation for white wines. During the 20th and 21st centuries the estate expanded its wine‑tourism focus by creating the "Ciudad del Vino" and building the iconic hotel designed by Frank Gehry.
Production philosophy
The estate declares a strong commitment to respecting the land and to wine quality: it promotes organic and regenerative farming practices aimed at preserving soil health, enhancing varietal character and adapting the vineyards to climate change. At the same time it seeks to combine tradition and innovation, opening the cellar to the public with tours and hospitality experiences.
