Elegant in the glass despite its rustic image, this artisanal Psenner mezcal expresses a direct and sincere personality. On the nose there are smoky notes that are never aggressive, wrapped in a subtle scent of cooked agave and damp earth, with hints of citrus that lighten the profile. The sip is savory and sustained, with balanced warmth and a smooth texture; the smoky element harmonizes with a slight herbal bitterness and a persistence that invites a second taste.

Best enjoyed neat, at room temperature or slightly chilled, it reveals its versatility with rustic pairings: grilled meats, aged cheeses, or dishes based on mushrooms and spices; it also works as an interesting contrast with dark chocolate. Serve in small glasses to concentrate the aromas and let it breathe for a few minutes: this brings out more delicate nuances and keeps the palate clean. A mezcal that speaks of raw material and craft, suited to those seeking a sincere, no-frills sip.
