The Pinot Noir Rully Rouge of Burgundy, signed Jaffelin, gracefully expresses the typical elegance of the grape variety in this renowned appellation. Cultivated in the hills of Rully, in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, this red stands out for its refined complexity and the typical character of Burgundy. The Pinot Noir grape gives the wine delicate sensations of red fruits such as cherry and strawberry, enriched by light spicy notes and a hint of damp earth.

The aging, carried out in oak barrels for a period that harmonizes its tannins, provides structure and a pleasant aromatic persistence. On the palate, it reveals a soft texture and a balance that makes this Rully Rouge versatile in pairings, ideal with dishes based on white meats, mushrooms, and soft cheese. A wine that faithfully tells the story of the Burgundy terroir and Jaffelin's artisanal expertise.

Winery history
Jaffelin's cellars are located in the ancient "Caves du Chapitre" connected to the Collégiale Notre-Dame in Beaune: the cellars date back to the 12th century, and in 1816 the Jaffelin brothers began their négociant business on these premises. Over time the Maison has remained focused on blending and in-house winemaking, preserving and restoring the historic character of its cellars.
Production philosophy
The estate combines artisanal methods with a modern approach to winemaking: it produces handcrafted cuvées, uses traditional equipment, and oversees cellar aging to express the character of the different Burgundian terroirs.
