The Rum Demerara Single Still Port Mourant 2009 of El Dorado is an exceptionally fine spirit originating from Guyana, in the historic Demerara region, famous for its tradition in producing rich and structured rums. This rum is made exclusively by pot still distillation, a method that enhances the aromatic complexity by giving intense notes and a unique personality. The long aging takes place in American oak barrels, which enrich the spirit’s profile with hints of vanilla, caramel, and the sweet spices typical of the area.

On the nose you can perceive delicate smoky nuances, dried fruit, and a pleasant scent of seasoned wood. The palate is full, smooth, and complex, with a refined balance between sweetness and a persistent final spiciness. Ideal both to be enjoyed neat after a meal and to accompany fine cigars, this rum tells the tradition and artisanal mastery of one of the most renowned distilleries in the world, offering an intense and enveloping sensory experience.
