Old St. Croix Non Plus Ultra presents itself as a rum with character, featuring a full but well-balanced aromatic profile. On the nose there are notes of caramel and vanilla, accompanied by hints of dried fruit and citrus peel, while a faint streak of toasted wood adds depth without overpowering. On the palate it is round and enveloping: the texture is soft, the warmth is present but controlled, and the finish lingers on spicy echoes that balance a pleasant sweet element.
