Sangiovese di Romagna Superiore "S" DOC from Monticino Rosso is a red wine that offers a balanced expression of the Sangiovese grape in the Romagna context. Medium-bodied, it shows a clear ruby color and an aromatic profile marked by fresh and ripe red fruits, light floral notes and subtle spicy nuances. On the palate it delivers balanced structure, measured tannins and lively acidity that supports freshness; the drinking experience is smooth, with pleasant persistence and a clean finish that invites another sip.

Versatile at the table, it pairs easily with everyday dishes such as pasta with not-too-heavy ragù, rustic pizza, cured meats and medium-mature cheeses, as well as simply prepared white and red meats. Recommended serving temperature is around 16–18 °C and opening shortly before serving helps release the aromas. It is a suitable choice for those seeking a territorial, restrained and enjoyable Sangiovese for informal occasions.
