La Maison Billecart‑Salmon nasce nel 1818 dalla famiglia Billecart e dalla famiglia Salmon; la sede storica è a Mareuil‑sur‑Aÿ, nella regione della Champagne. Rimasta a conduzione familiare per più generazioni, la casa ha sviluppato bottiglie iconiche come la Cuvée Nicolas François e la Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon, consolidando una reputazione internazionale per qualità e coerenza stilistica.
