Winery Corte Aleardi

The Ferrari family runs the Corte Aleardi estate in Gargagnago, in the heart of Valpolicella Classica. The estate is housed in a 17th-century residence with underground cellars. The family states that its winemaking tradition dates back to 1789 and has, over time, developed a range of wines typical of the area while retaining traditional practices integrated with technological elements.

Enhance the native grape varieties and the territorial identity of Valpolicella by prioritising careful winemaking, including the natural drying of the grapes, and practices focused on quality and production sustainability.

Vineyards located in Valpolicella Classica, including the Bure Alto plots (municipality of San Pietro in Cariano) and Montepalà (municipality of Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella). The hillside vineyards have favourable exposures and calcareous, silty or gravelly soils depending on the plot. The winery uses drying rooms for the grapes destined for Amarone.
