Winery history Feudo Maccari

Born from the interest of the Moretti Cuseri family following a trip to Val di Noto, Feudo Maccari was established by bringing together plots from numerous local landowners to create a winemaking enterprise rooted in the territory of Maccari. The winery operates on hills overlooking the sea, with the aim of expressing the local character in its wines.

Production philosophy

Territorial focus: producing wines that reflect the Mediterranean character of Val di Noto. Development of single-varietal wines and winemaking choices designed to highlight the identity of local grapes, with cellar practices calibrated in pursuit of elegance and typicity.

Terroir and vineyards

Located in southeastern Sicily, between Noto, the Vendicari Nature Reserve and the village of Marzamemi, the winery benefits from a Mediterranean climate influenced by sea breezes and from soils composed of limestone, sand and volcanic strata that characterize the vineyards on the slopes of Capo Passero.
