Storia della cantina Bouchard Père & Fils

La storia della Maison parte dagli inizi del XVIII secolo: Michel Bouchard si stabilì a Beaune e la famiglia iniziò a commerciare vini. Nei decenni successivi i Bouchard acquisirono vigneti significativi, la sede storica è legata al Château de Beaune e la proprietà è passata nel 1995 alla famiglia Henriot; più recentemente la casa è entrata nell’orbita di Artémis Domaines. Sul sito ufficiale viene indicato il 1731 come anno d’inizio delle attività in Beaune e il 1775 come data di prima acquisizione di parcelle vitate.

Filosofia produttiva

L’approccio della Maison combina rispetto del patrimonio burgundese e pratiche sostenibili: valorizzazione del terroir, conservazione dei suoli, attenzione alla biodiversità e progressiva conversione all’agricoltura biologica con impegni di gestione responsabile delle risorse e tutela del patrimonio locale e umano.

Territorio e vigneti

Vigneti concentrati nella Côte de Beaune con parcelle nelle denominazioni di Beaune, Volnay, Monthelie, Pommard e Meursault; la storia della casa è fortemente legata alla città di Beaune e alle sue cantine storiche sotto il Château.
