The estate bears traces of viticulture dating back to the Etruscan era and was progressively developed during the Medici period with the construction of Villa La Ferdinanda. In recent decades the estate’s management has been revitalized by the Olmo family through agricultural improvements and renovation of the winemaking operations.

It combines respect for local tradition with modern practices in the vineyard and cellar, placing emphasis on quality, the enhancement of the local area, and wine tourism hospitality.

Situated among the Montalbano hills near Carmignano, the estate features varied soils and a microclimate favorable to Sangiovese and the international varieties typical of the local appellations. The Villa Medicea dominates the landscape and the estate includes vineyards, olive groves and woodlands.
