Lustau

Lustau was established in 1896 by José Ruiz-Berdejo; in subsequent years the family moved production to Jerez (1931) and, under Emilio Lustau Ortega, the bodega began marketing its own wines and brandies under its own labels from 1945. In the 1980s the house expanded its offering introducing ranges such as Solera Familiar and Almacenistas. In 1990 Lustau joined the Luis Caballero Group, receiving investments that enabled expansion and the move (in 2000) to large historic casco bodegueros on Calle Arcos in Jerez. Today Lustau produces Jerez wines, vermouth and brandy and manages soleras across the three Marco de Jerez towns (Jerez, El Puerto de Santa María and Sanlúcar de Barrameda).

Combine tradition and innovation in the production of Jerez wines: preserve local techniques (solera, biological ageing under a flor veil) and showcase small local productions through the Almacenistas labels, offering a diversified range of fortified wines, vermouth and brandy.
